In we marched, taking everything away.Claiming it’s ours,“Our home and native land.” They shared,They cared. We tearedthe trust woven in a land we call ‘home.’ Yet, we weren’t invited. We invadedanother’s home,to claim our own. Thieves we are, with no remorse. Over and over we keep breaking hearts, causing pain and sufferingto those native to this land. Let us be kinder.Let us be caring.Let us be sharing.Let us give what wasn’t rightly ours. Let us be Canadians.
