I don’t wear hijab, but my parents really want me to. I don’t feel like I’m ready. What do I do?

We must remember that hijab is not just an outer act of devotion, but also a reflection of an inner conviction. If you really don’t want to wear a hijab, look up other things you can do that Allah (swt) commands his people and follow them, show your parents that you are capable of following other commands of Allah (swt) as well, which may in time lead to the hijab. This may in itself be enough of a signal for your parents.
